Lili Gönye

My name is Lili Gönye. My mother is a conductor, and my sibling has cerebral palsy, so I became familiar with the Pető Institute already in childhood. There was never any question that I wanted to become part of this special world myself.

I graduated as a conductor in 2016, after which I worked with children and young people with multiple disabilities. Along the way, I became acquainted with the method of Augmentative and Alternative Communication, as well as social circus, whose main goal is to promote integration through movement-based group activities. I also participated in several courses, primarily with a fascial-focused approach.

In order to expand my knowledge, I obtained a BSc degree in Physiotherapy in 2025.

Neurology and robot-assisted therapy have always interested me, and during my practical training I had the opportunity to gain insight into these fields. Therefore, I was certain that I wanted to become a member of the STEPS team.
