STEPS House Rules

1. Relatives can accompany patients to the changing rooms and toilets, and of course they can use the toilets on the right, but we can only accept our patients into the therapy rooms. The exceptions to this are relatives of those coming for a new examination, or in justified cases, persons approved by the leading physiotherapists.
2. In the case of our child patients, the presence of one parent is allowed in the case of Lokomat and Perpedes therapies, preferably during the installation and dismantling period. For the sake of safety, child relatives can wait at the reception, but due to the size of the therapy rooms, we cannot provide childcare for this. We try to create a comfortable waiting room for the convenience of relatives.
3. We ask companions to wait in the foyer, thus facilitating the therapy and the patient’s independence. If necessary, we will speak to you immediately!
4. The use of change shoes/foot bags is mandatory in the therapy areas!
5. We ask that companions not go behind the reception desk.
6. We ask that companions not disturb the sessions by ringing their mobile phones or making loud noises in the waiting area (speaking on the hands-free phone, listening to music, watching videos without headphones)!
7. Eating food is not allowed in the therapy area and on the robots, please eat the snacks you bring in the lobby or in the changing rooms.
8. We are not responsible for valuables left unattended in the lobby, changing room or therapy area.
9. The duration of the therapies is 50 minutes, which in the case of robot therapy also includes the time for installation and removal. In the case of multiple consecutive therapies, patients can freshen up in the waiting room.
10. Please arrive on time for your sessions! We cannot extend the sessions beyond the scheduled time. In case of delay, please notify the reception as soon as possible.
11. We can only start the given therapy if the fee has been arranged in advance.
12. In case of cancellation, please notify the reception as soon as possible. We can only accept cancellations within 24 hours for patients with the “flexible” package. In the case of a “normal” package, if you cancel within 24 hours, you will be charged the price of the therapy for that day, with the exception of illness (medical certificate required) or force majeure. In the case of the “economic” package, we cannot accept cancellations, the price of the given day’s therapy/s will be charged.
13. Please make sure that cancellations of sessions are made in writing in order to avoid any misunderstandings, which can be done by sending an SMS to our central phone number, +36 70 944 5154, or by sending an e-mail to contact@stepsbudapest.com .
2. Please observe the following hygiene and health rules when using the therapies:
• Wearing clean clothes. Please be prepared with a change of clothes in case of unexpected discomfort. If this is not respected, the therapist has the right to cancel or continue the therapy at any time.
• Well-groomed appearance (skin care, hair care, oral care).
• A change of shoes is mandatory (also for the companion)!
• Do not avoid the mud flap upon entering.
• Clothing suitable for therapy. (skirts and dresses are not suitable for ladies, all our patients should arrive in long pants for Lokomat therapy, short pants are not suitable for therapy)
• Proper use of the restroom.
• In case of drooling, provide a cloth suitable for drying it. If necessary, provide a change of clothes.
• If wearing a diaper, change a clean diaper before starting therapy.
• In case of respiratory symptoms (cough, sneezing, runny nose, nasal congestion), a temporary suspension of therapy is justified until the above-mentioned symptoms disappear. Seasonal allergic reactions are no exception to this, since from a hygiene point of view the process is also accompanied by secretions.
• Therapy is prohibited in case of fever!
• If you are not satisfied with the cleanliness, please inform the reception!

Compliance with hygiene and health rules is our common goal. We hereby honor the patients who come after us by using the therapeutic equipment we use in a clean and well-groomed appearance.

If the above requests are ignored, we will not be able to hold the therapy session. The fee for that day will be charged.
By registering for any session, everyone accepts the house rules for themselves. Compliance with the house rules is mandatory, we thank you for considering and adhering to them!
